Jeffrey J. “Jeff” Meyer, age 66, of Plymouth, WI, lost his hard fought battle against Leukemia on May 14,
2022 surrounded by his wife, Jane, his children: Andy and Julia as well as his brother, Tim.
He was born on June 22, 1955 in Sheboygan, WI, a son of the late Frederick “Fritz” and Iola “Ole”
(Gorr) Meyer. Jeff attended Waldo Grade School and graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in
1973. He continued his education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater receiving a Bachelor’s
Degree in Business.
On November 7, 1981, he married Jane Hahn at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Sheboygan.
He was in business with his parents, owning and operating the Waldo Orchards for many years before
working for the Bemis Manufacturing Company in Sheboygan Falls for over 30 years.
Jeff was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth was Captain of the Usher Team # 10 in
the Church. He also served as a facilitator for the Compassionate Parents Group in Sheboygan and
belonged to the E.A.A. and Plymouth Gardening Club. One of his passions in life was raising funds for
the Maywood Environmental Park in Sheboygan in memory of his son, Luke.
Jeff loved spending time with his family, especially his three granddaughters. Jeff also enjoyed riding his
bike, spending time outdoors, and tending to his apple trees and plants.
Survivors include: his loving wife, Jane of Plymouth, Son: Andy (Joanne) Meyer of Sheboygan and
One daughter: Julia Griffin of Plymouth. Three grandchildren: Aoife and Fiona Meyer and
Arianna “Ari” Griffin. One brother: Tim Meyer of Germantown, Sister-in-law: Judy (John) Mayer of
Diamond Head, MS and Brother -in-law: John (Rosie) Hahn of Bradenton, FL, and also survived by
many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Son: Luke and his mother and father-in-law: John and Julia
Hahn.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday (May 22, 2022) at 5:00 P.M. at St. John Lutheran Church in
Plymouth. Rev. John Schultz, pastor of the church will officiate.
Visitation will be held on SUNDAY (May 22) at the church from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jeff’s name.
