Carolyn Kuether

Carolyn Bettie Ann Kuether, age 80, of Sheboygan, WI, passed away unexpectedly at her home on
Thursday, January 6, 2022.
She was born on May 20, 1941 in Sheboygan, WI, a daughter of the late John and Helen (Harder)
Engelman.
She attended Sheboygan Grade Schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1959.
On June 4, 1959, she married Jack C. Kuether at Sheboygan, WI. He preceded her in death after 48 years
of marriage on December 31, 2008.
Carolyn worked at both Armira Tannery and Mayline Company in Sheboygan for many years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. And, for the past several years, she had
enjoyed spending time traveling, going on nature rides, researching their German Russian heritage, and
eating at Pizza Ranch with her special friend, Jim Mohr. Jim is greatly loved by all in their family and are
very appreciative of the kindness, care, and compassion he had shown to Carol.
Survivors include her two daughters: LuAnna (Mark) Lawrence of Sheboygan, Tara Hocevar of
Sheboygan; four grandchildren: Tiffany Dicker, Amber Rupp, TJ Hocevar, and Sam Hocevar; seven great-
grandchildren: Madison, Aiden, Demetri, Jack, Mason, Christian and Michael; one sister-in-law: Betty
Ann Bernhardt of Sheboygan; and her special companion; Jim Mohr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Kuether; parents, John and Helen Engelman; son,
Steven Kuether and brother, Jack (Caroline) Engelman.
Following Carolyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place and private celebration of her life will take place
in the near future for her family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Carolyn’s name.
