Dorothy Davidson

Dorothy Davidson, age 87, passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 3, 2022.
She was born in Sheboygan on November 28, 1934, to the late Clem and Lucielle Schaub. She graduated
from Central High School. On December 27, 1958, Dorothy was united in marriage to Arthur Davidson in
Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on June 22, 2001, after 42 years of marriage. Dorothy was a
member of Holy Name Catholic Church.
Dorothy enjoyed listening to oldies and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Julie and Cathy; a son Mike; a granddaughter Madelyn; a grandson
Jacob; her sister Barbara (Dr. Robert) Andrews of North Carolina and very special extended family, Kay
and Marshall. Nieces, nephews, other family and friends further survive.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters, Ruth Gergisch and Mary Ann
Burkard.
A private family service will be held at a later date for Dorothy.
A memorial fund has been established in Dorothy’s name.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at St. Nicholas Hospital and their
hospice team. They would also like to thank Amber Gilliam and her care team for allowing mom the
chance and the dignity to spend the last part of her life at home.
