Anna Harmuth, 92, of Oostburg, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Sheboygan Progressive Health Services.
Anna was born on September 21, 1928, in Hogyesz, Hungary to Adam and Tereza (nee Pech) Schoenfeld.
She came to America on the “George Washington” 1st Class, where she went to live with her Tante Ulrich of Milwaukee.
Anna met James Harmuth at Croation Hall and they married at St. Emmerich’s on October 24, 1954.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Mary (fiancé Robert Hubinger) Tripp of Hingham; son, James (Ellen) Harmuth of West Bend; grandchild, Ian (Jess McCabe) Tripp of Oostburg. She was a beloved sister and aunt to family living in Cedarburg, WI; South Milwaukee, WI; Pushendorf, Germany; Carlsbad, Germany; Furstenfeldbruck, Germany; and Hungary.
A private funeral service to celebrate Anna’s life will be held. A burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Wednesday, January 20th, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm.
