Mark C. Wickesberg, age 71, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021, with his wife Karen by his side.
He was born on April 1, 1949, to the late Herbert and Hazel (Arpke) Wickesberg. He married Karen A.
Bramstedt on July 17, 1971.
Mark started his cooking career at Town & Country at the age of 16 where he was a cook, bartender,
host and a very good manager, catering a lot of weddings during his time there. Mark was a great cook
and owned Mark’s Fine Foods on Calumet Drive for 36 years. He enjoyed making people feel right at
home and treating them like family, making Mark’s home feel like a second to them. Over the years he
created a lot of friendships that would last a lifetime. When Mark wasn’t working, he enjoyed taking car
rides and little trips to the casino with Karen.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Karen; sons, Matthew (Darla) Wickesberg and Bradley
(Candace) Wickesberg; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; sisters Jane Coombs and Marian
(Peter) Warner; sister-in-law Helen Wickesberg; nieces, nephews, other friends and family further
survive.
Along with his parents, Mark was preceded in death by a brother Charles Wickesberg and a brother-in-
law Raymond Coombs.
A Memorial Service for Mark will take place on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at NOON at Al & Al’s, 1502 S.
12 th St. in Sheboygan. A time of visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of service on Saturday
at Al & Al’s. Mark will be laid to rest in Wildwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mark’s name.
