SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Brazil’s automobile production rose in June from May by 129%, but remains 58% lower compared with the same month in 2019, the national automakers’ association said on Monday.
Anfavea, as the automakers association is known, said the auto industry produced 98,700 units in May. Brazilian auto sales grew 113.6% in June from the month before to 132,800 units, 41% lower than in June 2019.
