Manitowoc Police
An 80 year old Manitowoc woman was sent to the hospital after she was struck by a car on Saturday.
Manitowoc police say the victim was lying in the middle of the roadway after she was struck while crossing the road at North 14th Street and Waldo Boulevard. Police say the victim was alert and conscious, and the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene, and cooperated with the investigation.
Police say victim was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident. She was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
