The United Way of Sheboygan County is hosting its annual Day of Caring, Thursday, September 24th. The day of Caring is the largest one-day volunteer event in Sheboygan County, bringing together hundreds of volunteers, local businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations to make a lasting impact.
Each year, United Way of Sheboygan County connects volunteers with meaningful service projects that improve parks, schools, nonprofits, and neighborhoods across our community. Whether you’re an individual looking for volunteer opportunities in Sheboygan or a company seeking a team-building volunteer experience, Day of Caring is your chance to give back, care for our neighbors, and be a part of creating lasting change in our community.
An after-party will be held at 3 Sheeps Brewing from noon until 6. The family-friendly event is open to all—there will be a burger and brat fry, games and raffles—and volunteers will be treated to a free beverage.
The busy week for the United Way will be capped off on Friday, as the organization celebrates the life and legacy of Dolly Parton with a 9-2-5 party and fundraiser at Downtown 925. The goal is to raise $925 for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library—which provides books to children each month until their 5th birthday.
