Racquet sports enthusiasts will now have a new year-round option in Kohler with the addition of “The Serve”. The new facility located adjacent to the Sports Core will have its grand opening on Thursday, October 1st with a public open house from 6 AM to 9 PM featuring leveled open play, demonstrations, challenges, refreshments, and an official unveiling ceremony at 11 AM.
Nina Kohler, the Strategy & Design Leader for Kohler Company, said that The Serve will be Wisconsin’s first destination where guests can experience pickleball, platform tennis, and traditional tennis in one place, but she added that the facility is about much more than just racquet sports. She said it further expands Kohler’s wellness offerings by creating a place where guests and community members can come together through movement, connection, and shared experiences.

Programming will include private lessons through a team of professionals led by Connie Hsu, a 7.0-rated professional tennis standout, accomplished coach, and Olympian. Through lessons, clinics, junior development programming, and special events, Hsu will help players of all levels elevate their game.
Pickleball players will have their own pro in Brad Vaudt who will lead pickleball instruction, drills, clinics, organized play opportunities and player development programs for all levels of that popular sport.
