A complex set of weather systems will influence the weather this weekend in Sheboygan County and all of southern Wisconsin. Aside from all the nuances the several factors could force, a simple summary indicates that this weekend will be wet; or it could be REALLY wet; but it won’t be dry.
National Weather Service forecasters agree that a general 1-3 inch rainfall can be expected from tonight through midday Saturday across southern Wisconsin. Depending upon how and where those several factors combine, it’s not unlikely that totals of 3-5 inches or more rain will be recorded. For that possibility, a flood watch has been issued for all of southern Wisconsin from 1 AM Saturday into the afternoon hours.
Weekend activities may get a break by Sunday afternoon when the chance of rain drops to less than 10%, and temperatures in the mid 60s will feel like the upper 50s in a stiff northeast breeze.
