Sheboygan County Administrator Alayne Krause says the Sheboygan County Board has approved new compensation for those serving on jury duty. The current rate paid is $12.50 for a half day and 25 for a full day—but that’s about to change.
Krause said that “We doubled that, so now a half day will be 25 dollars and a full day will be $50 dollars. So, certainly a step in the right direction to recognize and compensate those who come and perform their civic duty and serve as a juror”
The new fees are included in the county’s budget for next year.
