The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for all of southern Wisconsin, including Sheboygan County, from noon on Tuesday until Wednesday at 8 PM. A nearly cloudless sky at the peak sun angle of the year – combined with increasing moisture – will result in heat indices – or “feels-like temperatures”, in the upper 90s to low 100s, with the hottest conditions for Sheboygan County expected on Tuesday.

NWS Graphic
The heat will abate to simply “hot”, but less dangerous conditions for Thursday and Friday, but with overnight temperatures remaining in the 70s, little comfort is expected without air conditioning.
Relief may be found in the Lake Michigan waters which measure in the upper 60s along the Sheboygan coastline, and with waves only around 1 foot it offers a relatively safe option for cooling off.
