The latest addition to Sheboygan’s collection of storybook-themed gardens is just about ready for its debut. Bookworm Gardens has announced the unveiling of its 2026 Readers’ Roundup storyscape, “Harvey Potter’s Balloon Farm” by Jerdine Nolen.
The installation was created in partnership with Sheboygan County 4-H as a one-season, immersive storyscape, and is part of rotating, annually-changing installations in the Readers’ Roundup space. 4-H members from across Sheboygan County were actively involved in selecting the book, brainstorming design concepts, painting original art pieces, planting seedlings for the garden, and shaping the space.

Harvey Potter’s Balloon Farm will debut on Community Day, Saturday May 16th from 10 AM until 1 PM.
Admission will be free for all visitors between 9 AM and 1 PM, and the ribbon-cutting will be accompanied by hands-on activities, storytime, and food from local trucks Harvest Street and Peja Vu.
Readers’ Roundup received funding from the Wm. Collins Kohler Foundation, and Community Day is made possible in part by local sponsor generosity led by Plenco Plastics Engineering Company, Mid-City Foundry, and Mike Depagter Plumbing, LLC.
