The recently-opened ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital Lakeshore in Cleveland now has its first Director, Dr. Lori Brooks. She now leads the 36-bed facility that opened in the Village of Cleveland in 2025, a hospital that specializes in rehabilitative care for those with disabling injuries or illnesses, including strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and other medically complex conditions.
Brooks earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Carroll College in Waukesha, and her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
Upon her appointment, Brooks said that she was “honored to work with the hospital’s healthcare team to provide the community with a higher level of specialized rehabilitation.”
In her role at ClearSky Lakeshore, Brooks will oversee the hospital’s interdisciplinary healthcare team, managing services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy; rehabilitative nursing; case management; respiratory therapy; dietary services, and other specialized rehabilitative programs.
