The National Weather Service is giving advance notice on the chance for hazardous weather conditions on both Saturday morning and Sunday evening. Concerns center around the trace-1” snowfall potential Saturday morning, along with another possible 1-2” snowfall on Sunday evening. In both cases, the chances are highest in Fond du Lac and Sheboygan Counties compared to the rest of southeastern Wisconsin. The periods of concern are Saturday between 6 AM and 12 noon, and Sunday between 5 PM and 1 AM Monday, with the greatest concern over slick conditions on untreated roads.
Accumulations of a few tenths of an inch are projected for Sheboygan County for the initial event on Saturday morning, mostly between 8 AM and 2 PM. The hours of greatest concern for up to an inch of snow reside between 6 PM Sunday and 5 AM Monday.
Following those incursions of snow, warmer temperatures setting in for the upcoming week set the stage for above normal temperatures and melting conditions for any snow remaining on the ground.
