The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office Drone Team has gotten a boost thanks to an area fundraiser. The 3rd annual Jensen Horvat Memorial Ride and Fundraiser, held on August 16th, is in memory of Jensen Horvat of Sheboygan who lost his life to mental illness four years ago. The annual fundraiser helps support mental health awareness through various agencies including Mental Health America.
This past week the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office was among this year’s beneficiaries, with a generous donation directed by the Horvat family to be used to support the Drone Unit. The Sheriff said that the Horvat family recognizes the role the Drone team plays in the health, safety, and wellness of Sheboygan County’s citizens.
