An ATM being serviced was the intended target of robbers Wednesday morning according to the Sheboygan Police Department.
Reports say that police were notified at around 11 AM concerning the attempted strong-arm robbery at the UnitedOne Credit Union automated teller machine at 2122 Superior Avenue. Repairs were underway by a vendor and electrician at the time of the act. Police say that no weapons were displayed and there were no injuries reported during the incident.
The Sheboygan Police Department did say that this appears to be a targeted event, that the subjects have fled the area and that there is no ongoing threat to the public, however no other information was offered.
