An installation honoring veterans has been vandalized, shortly following its completion.
Manitowoc Police Captain Matt Wallander says that several individuals went to the memorial at Red Arrow Park on Monday and removed memorial bricks from the ground. They then smashed the bricks on the concrete pad surrounding the memorial and flag display.
Captain Wallander noted, “Our police department is looking for information on the suspects of this inexcusable criminal act, so they can be held accountable for their actions.” The Red Arrow memorial was recently completed after years of work by the Friends of Red Arrow.
