BERLIN (Reuters) – Siemens’ supervisory board head Jim Hagemann Snabe will be elected for additional two years in his role at the annual general meeting in February, the German conglomerate said in a statement on Wednesday.
Snabe, who has been Siemens’ chairman since 2018 after joining the board in October 2013, had told Reuters in April that he was open to extending his stint.
In addition, Peter Koerte, head of strategy and technology, and Veronika Bienert, head of Siemens Financial Services, will join the management board on Oct. 1, the Munich-based firm said.
The management board contract of Cedrik Neike, head of the Digital Industries automation division, will be extended by five years as announced, it added.
