Voters in the City of Sheboygan are being advised of mistakes found on ballots being used during early voting for the April election. Early voting began on Tuesday, and by noon the City Clerk’s Office had sent notice of two errors. The first involves the section pertaining to the Multi-jurisdictional Municipal Judge, in which the language instructing to “Vote for 1” was not adequately delineated. In addition, a typographical error was found on the second page.
Sheboygan City Clerk Meredith DeBruin noted that all ballots are provided by the Sheboygan County Clerks Department, and that office can be contacted for questions about the misprint, (920)459-3003, while the City Clerk’s Office can respond to general questions about the City of Sheboygan’s April election, (920)459-3361.

Note: County Clerk Jon Dolson has contacted WHBL News in order to assure the public that every ballot printed, whether absentee or on election day, will go through the tabulator and will count as usual, regardless of any omissions or typographical errors found.
