Worries over spring flooding continue fading as the National Weather Service issued its most recent expectations for the season.
In the Sheboygan River Basin, as well as for all of southern Wisconsin, a shortage of precipitation that began last June leaves little risk of flooding. While that can be welcome news, that same shortage does leave much of Wisconsin in a moderate-to-severe drought, however most of Sheboygan County has normal soil moisture.
For the Spring Season, the three-month outlook now through the end of May indicates near normal precipitation along with a good chance of above normal temperatures.
