A trial date has been set for Adam Westbrook, the former City of Sheboygan Human Resources Director who was arrested for creating and distributing child pornography.
A federal judge has set Westbrook’s jury trial for September of this year with jury selection scheduled to begin September 23rd. Before that, though, Westbrook will have a hearing to determine his detention on March 21st.
Westbrook, who was the Outagamie County HR Director at the time of his arrest, is facing child pornography and child exploitation charges after investigators say he took and shared videos of a little boy while at a Sauk County hotel in January. He resigned his position with the City of Sheboygan in August of 2022, shortly after allegations of inappropriate conduct at City Hall surfaced.
