On October 29, 2023 our beloved family member Ann Kovacic has found her heavenly wings.
Ann was born October 6, 1927 to Joseph and Appolonia Govek Yeray. She attended SS Cyril &
Methodius Catholic school and graduated from Central High school 1945. Also attended UW
extension Sheboygan and was employed at the C. Reiss Coal Co. On February 3, 1951 she and
Robert C. Kovacic were married at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic church.
Ann was a lifelong and active member of Ss. Cyril & Methodius Church and committees
including grade school, bingo, Christian Women's Society officer, Charity Club and Slovenian
Union of America.
Ann and husband Bob owned and operated Central Photo at 1022 Michigan Ave until Bob's
death on November 21, 1995.
Survivors include one son David (Sandy) Kovacic, four daughters, Lynn Mehrtens, Karen (Greg)
Noble, Jane Masty, Laura (Chris) Bonelli. Grandchildren Sonja (Chad) Hanson, Elizabeth (Jay)
Brittan, John Noble, Michael (Rebecca) Noble, Alison (Alex) Beinborn, Robert Bonelli (Raven
Gmach) & Lexi Zloba.
Great grandchildren Josh & Ellie Hanson, Andrew, Sarah, Grant, Zachary & Caleb Noble,
Tommy, Teddy & Henry Noble, Cole & Noah Beinborn, Olivia & Marissa Brittan. Sister-in-law
Colleen Kovacic, nieces Kim Kovacic, Ruth Anderson, Susan (David) Kress, Joellen (Larry)
Schutz & Betty Cameron. Her special Govek cousins and very dear special friends Cliff and
Rosemarie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob, brother and sister-in-law Joseph & Liz
Yeray, brothers-in-law Ron & Allen Kovacic, sister-in-law Connie Kovacic, still born infant
granddaughter Alexandra.
Family and friends may gather at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 822 New Jersey
Ave. Sheboygan on Monday November 6, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00
a.m. Fr. Kenneth Anyanwu will officiate with Deacon Paul Govek assisting. Burial to follow in
the Greendale Cemetery.
Special thank you from the family to the staff at Meadow View nursing home, Sharon
Richardson Hospice, caretakers, neighbors and friends who all touched Ann's life.
