Carrie Lou Jolke was born on October 1, 1942 in Sheboygan to Catherine and Chester Williams.
She is preceded in death by her parents Chester and Catherine (Dekker) Williams, her mother and
father-in-law, Stuart and Ruby (Dekker) Jolke, her brother Richard Williams, and brother-in-law Stuart
Jerome Jolke. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Jolke, whom she was married to for 52 years.
Also left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Teri Beth Yelle, her siblings Kenneth (Karie) Williams of
Pewaukee, Randall (Beth) Williams of Sheboygan, Rosalie “Posie” (Richard) Te Lindert of Cedar Grove,
and sister-in-law Donna Williams of Sheboygan. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
Carrie was born and raised in Sheboygan. She attended Christian Grade School, and graduated from
North High in 1960. She married Thomas Jolke on July 9, 1971, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in
Sheboygan. On Christmas Day 1978, they were blessed with a “truly wonderful present,” the birth of
their precious daughter, Teri Beth. Carrie was employed at JC Penny’s, Lakeland Manufacturing
Company, and McDonalds South. She loved watching sports, especially the Milwaukee Bucks, and
enjoyed her crossword puzzles. While Teri worked at Sears, Carrie would bring in the world’s best
cookies every Monday for all the employees. She baked these cookies for years, endearing her to
everyone who worked there. Her feisty and tell it like it is personality will be missed by all who knew and
loved her.
Per Carrie’s wishes, no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Our Saviors Lutheran Church Sunday School Program.
