Robert K. Lindorfer Jr., age 71, of Sheboygan passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded
by his loving family on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
He was born in St. Paul, MN on April 24, 1952, to the late Robert and Laura (Kratt) Lindorfer Sr.
After graduating from Murray High School, Robert received his bachelor’s degree in Zoology
from the University of Minnesota.
Robert was an avid runner whose passion led him to complete the Boston Marathon from 1999
to 2013. During this time, his philanthropic efforts focused on raising awareness and funds for
the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, as he ran marathons in Alaska, Hawaii, Ireland and
France. Later, his passion led him to become involved with The American Cancer Society where
he was an active chair member for the Hit The Road event at Road America since 2004. In 2023,
ACS Team Lindorfer surpassed his original $10,000 goal, raising over $40,000 for research and
critical support resources for those who will also battle cancer in Wisconsin.
Robert is survived by his wife, Lynn Lindorfer; sons, Charles (Allison) Lindorfer, and Matthew
(Laura) Lindorfer; grandchildren, Mason Lindorfer and Chloe Lindorfer; siblings, Laura (Bob)
Budde, Margaret (Ron) Taylor, Jean (Ron) Regal, Dan (Robin) Lindorfer, and Dick (Debbie)
Lindorfer; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Robert will be held on Friday, October 27 th at Pine Hills Country Club at
6:00 p.m. Please dress casually and come prepared to share your favorite stories of Bob with
