A local manufacturer remains among the top-tier of the coolest things made in Wisconsin. Jolly Good Soda, made by Krier Foods of Random Lake, survived a head-to-head matchup with Stoughton Trailers to make it to the next round of voting that begins at 8 a.m. on Thursday, October 5th and continues through 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10th. The entry opposite Jolly Good is the 90th Anniversary Limited Edition Sno-Thro from Ariens. Another area establishment, Cedar Valley Cheese of Belgium, also remains in the running, as their String Cheese is pitted against Applewood Smoked Bacon from Neuske’s Applewood Smoked Meats of Wittenberg.
“The Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin” is an annual contest conducted by Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce. Voting is conducted online, and individuals can vote once per day, per device in all four matchups at www.madeinwis.com.
