Manitowoc County Sheriff Dan Hartwig has released the names of the five victims who died in two fatal crashes that happened within the past week.
38-year-old Juan Carlos Rodriguez Solorzano was identified as the driver in a September 6th accident. He failed to stop at a T-intersection and collided with a pole barn. He, along with passengers 35-year-old Yonayra Liliana Ortiz Centeno, and 22-year-old Edwin Mariano Espinal Navarro, all of the Village of Hilbert, died in that crash.
This past Sunday, a head-on crash claimed the lives of the two drivers, the only persons involved. The Sheriff’s Office identified 21-year-old Carla Ann Rivera of Menasha as the driver of a pickup truck that apparently crossed the center line, striking a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Keegan Ann Grimm of Reedsville.
No other information was released, as both crashes remain under investigation.
