Students from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay’s Sheboygan Campus will be among more than 1,100 eligible graduates during commencement ceremonies on Saturday. Of note – UW-Green Bay will celebrate its 50,000th graduate from the University that held its first commencement in 1970.
Two ceremonies will be held for students from all four campuses, Green Bay, Marinette, Manitowoc and Sheboygan. Associates, bachelors and masters degrees will be conferred in 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. sessions.
University officials did not identify who the 50,000th graduate would be, nor when that person would cross the stage, but the moment will be formally recognized sometime on Saturday.
