On December 3 rd , Jessica Lost her battle with MS while her mother was at her side. She was the
daughter of Mary Hilmes and the late Paul Hilmes.
She grew up in the Plymouth/Elkhart Lake area and went on to UWM to study art. Her goal was to teach
elementary school art classes, but on her 23 rd birthday that dream was cut short when she received her
diagnosis.
Anyone that met Jessica immediately took to her and admired her positive attitude and strength.
She loved music, shopping, movies and most of all her favorite show “Friends”.
She was the best daughter anyone could ask tor and she will truly be missed, but I’m sure right now she
is enjoying her new found legs and walking again.
Jessica is survived by: Her mother, Mary; and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by: Her father, Paul; Aunt, Sharon Dampier; and her maternal and paternal
grandparents.
Following Jessica’s wishes, cremation has taken place and NO services will be held.
Condolences can be sent to mjhilmes@gmail.com and if so desired a donation to the MS Society in
honor of her to help further the quest of a cure can be made.
The Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services is serving the family. For online condolences, please
