April S. Justus, 42, of Sheboygan, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, after struggling with
dialysis for over 15 years, and in 2019 losing part of her left leg and right foot. April had an amazing
spirit and was very determined not to let her health and disability define who she was.
April had the gift of gab, she made many friends while working at Piggly Wiggly and Walmart on the
northside, as a cashier she loved to visit with the customers and make them smile. April had a Heart of
Gold, she always put her family and friends before herself. She made sure they were taken care of and
knew how much she loved them. Her nieces and nephews were her pride and joy, she enjoyed
crocheting blankets for them, and playing with them. She even became a diehard Pokémon Go player
because of them. April was an animal lover; her favorite animal was a wolf. She also loved her faithful
and furry companion Chewy. Reading was also a favorite past time of hers, her collection of paperback
books was quite impressive. April had a strong faith and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
April was born April 7, 1980, in Sheboygan to the late Robert Sr. and Connie (Zill) Justus. She graduated
from Sheboygan North High School with the Class of 1998. She is survived by her sisters; Lori (Jimmy Sr.)
Voigt, Shantell Randall, and Tanya (Andrew Leist) Hernandez, several nieces, nephews, a great-nephew,
aunt Charlotte Nieland, uncles; Ricky (Sandy) Zill, Larry (Carol) Justus, Jeff (Mary) Justus, Tim (Marilyn)
Justus and Tommy Justus, best friend Tanya “Wifey” Weisfeld, and her Godson Alex Weisfeld. April was
preceded in death by her parents, paternal and maternal grandparents, brother Robert Justus Jr., sister
Robin Justus, nephew Elijah Justus, aunt Mary Justus and uncle Elmer “Butch” (Ruth) Zill Jr.
