Dr. Braham Swarup Pradhan, 91, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully with his
family by his side on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial
Medical Center. He was born January 4, 1931, in Etowah, India.
On May 23, 1962, he was united in marriage to Suman Saxena in Lucknow, India.
Together they raised two children, Nidhi Pradhan and Sanjeev (Alexis) Pradhan.
Dr. Pradhan worked with the Department of Agriculture for the State of
Wisconsin as a Veterinary Supervisor for over 30 years, retiring in 2000.
Braham was known to his family and friends as a man with a big heart who
touched everyone who met him. He was a strong-willed man with high standards,
strong character and everlasting devotion. He put himself last to make life better
for others. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is further survived by his grandchildren Sameer, Mihir, Aryan, and Aarin
Pradhan, brothers; Hirdey (Sheel) Pradhan and Shanti (Manju) Pradhan, brother-
in-law Dr. Satish Saxena and his nephew Manish (Divya) Pradhan and their
children; Varun and Shreyas Pradhan. He was preceded in death by his parents,
Ram (Anandi) Pradhan, brother Mohan (Shakuntula) Pradhan and sisters, Nirmala
Saxena and Urmila Saxena.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 11:00 AM at
Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8 th St., Sheboygan,
with Poojari Jagdish Acharya officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the
family on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the time of
service.
