Tyler Scott Bein passed away in the early morning of August 15 th at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in
Green Bay at the age of 31. He was born on July 25, 1991 and was the beloved son of Connie R. Peter
and Michael R. Bein. He was born in St. Nicolas Hospital in Sheboygan and lived most of his life in
Plymouth. Tyler’s faith was very important and a comfort to him. He was baptized at St. Peter’s UCC in
the town of Rhine and was confirmed at First Congregational UCC in Plymouth. He attended Fairview
Elementary and Riverview Middle School and went on to graduate from Plymouth High School in 2010,
which was one of his proudest accomplishments.
Tyler was born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus which caused him to have to endure many
challenges and hardships in life. Throughout it all, he remained a strong, happy, and optimistic person
who filled any room he was in with joy, love, and a strength that was unmatched. Tyler loved life to the
fullest. He was always one to fill a room with laughter and was known for his endless streams of jokes.
For much of his life, he found joy in and was an avid sports lover of football, hockey, and racing. He was
on many local racing crews where he shared a great deal of fond memories. He loved watching movies
and playing videogames. He was a lover of food and always enjoyed when his family cooked his favorite
meals for him and was always willing to experience and try new things. His life was filled with
adventures that helped shaped his life such as him going to Superbowl 31, trips to Road America,
attending Nascar events, family vacations up north, and going to Disney World. Tyler’s life and infectious
happiness touched many people throughout his life, and he will be forever missed.
He is survived by his parents: Michael (Lisa) Bein of Plymouth and Connie Peter (Tony Reich) of
Mishicot as well as his siblings: Amber Bein of Plymouth, Miranda (Craig) Fultz-Templeman of
Plymouth, Garrett (Brittany) Winscher of Plymouth, Drew Winscher of Plymouth, and Andrew Reich of
Mishicot. He is also survived by his grandmothers: Judith Peter of Elkhart Lake and Sharon Heckert of
Sheboygan. He also left behind many other beloved family members: Bob (Nicole) Peter of Howards
Grove, Keith Peter of Elkhart Lake, Linda (Danial) Schmitt of Elkhart Lake, Steve (Bridget) Bein of
Plymouth, and Tricia (Joshua) Balde of Plymouth as well as many cousins: Luci Bein, Brooke Bein,
Jamez Sternard, Lukas Sternard, Alexis Balde, Hannah Balde, Cody Schmitt, Lauren Schmitt, Logan
Peter, Devyn Peter, Brayden Peter, and Bryce Peter. He also left behind many friends including: the
McCoy family, the Flemming family, and the Kaats family.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Arno Dennis Peter and Robert Bein; great-grandparents:
Arno and Marie Peter, Harold and Ruth Bein, Sylvestor and Ruth Casper, and Raymond and Christina
Heckert; as well as his cousin: David Peter and great uncles: Pete Peter and Marvin Lutcke.
Visitation will be held on Friday (August 19 th ) at First Congregational United Church in Plymouth from
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and again on Saturday (August 20 th ) at the Church from 11:00 AM until the time of
service at 12:00 PM. Rev. Kristal Klemme, Pastor of the Church, will officiate. Burial will be at St. Peter
Evangelical Cemetery in the Town of Rhine.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made instead to the Memorial for Children’s
Hospital Spina Bifida Clinic.
