While today may not be the kind of “toasty” day many associate with summer, mother nature is looking with favor on Sheboygan for a pair of firsts – the arrival of a cruise ship at the South Pier and the opening concert of the Levitt Amp Series at City Green.
The arrival time of the American Patriot Cruise Ship in Sheboygan is not publicized, but is expected in the evening hours with time enough for passengers to do a bit of exploring. Much of Friday will be available for passengers to discover the city. A check of their website showed the cruise almost sold-out of their 130-passenger capacity, even with bookings in the $8,000 range per fare. Passengers can expect to arrive with temperatures in the mid-upper 60s with less than a 30% chance of light showers or thundershowers, mainly between noon and 4 PM today, with dry weather then expected to follow through Friday..
For those planning to attend the Levitt concert at City Green, temps in the mid-upper 60s and a northeast breeze will make light jackets or sweatshirts the style-of-the-evening.
