Yvonne Annette Nouguier Hartman, 87, of Sheboygan, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Sunny Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born July 3, 1935 in San Francisco, CA, Yvonne was a daughter of the late Louis J. and Valerie Riblet Nouguier. She attended schools in San Francisco and received her G.E.D from Lakeshore Technical College in Sheboygan in 1987. On October 25, 1952, Yvonne was untied in marriage to Lester C. Hartman at the Fort Winfield Scott Chapel in the Presidio in San Francisco. They moved to Sheboygan and were married for 61 years before Lester preceded her in death on May 14, 2014.
Yvonne worked for Pine Hills Country Club for many years and was a homemaker. She enjoyed camping, gardening, and cooking, but her greatest joy was time spent with her family.
She is survived by her four sons, Perry (Mary), David (Brenda), Daniel, and Thomas, all of Sheboygan; her four grandchildren, Amber (Shelby Schleicher) De Smidt, Neil (Rosa) Hartman, Deidra (John Sukowaty) Hartman, and Jordon (fiance’ Kasey Balde) Hartman; five great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; her brother, Emil Nouguier, California; her daughter-in-law, Terry Hartman, Sheboygan Falls; in-laws, Mark and Debbie Hartmann, Sheboygan Falls; other family and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Lester, she was preceded in death by her son, Gary Hartman; brother, Louis G. Nouguier; in-laws, Henry (Ellonora) Hartman and Nora (Fred) Guetschow.
Funeral service for Yvonne will take place on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Friends and family are welcome at the funeral home on Wednesday the 10th from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
A memorial fund has been established in Yvonne’s name.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Sunny Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Compassus Hospice for all of their loving care, support, and comfort.
