Frederick “Fritz” N. Born, age 66, of Glenbeulah, passed away peacefully at Sharon Richardson
Community Hospice on April 6, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Plymouth on August 2, 1955, a son of the late Norman and Dorothy (Van Klaveren) Born.
Fred graduated from Plymouth High School in 1973 and served in the United States Marine Corps from
1973-1978.
On November 6, 1976, he married Denise Johnson. Together they operated a hobby farm in Glenbeulah
for almost 40 years.
Fritz worked at Gilson Bros./Toro for 37 years, holding many different positions before he retired in
2010.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah and in addition to running the hobby farm, he
enjoyed: hunting, fishing, and watching sports (especially his kids and grandkids).
Survivors include: His loving wife: Denise; Two sons: Jesse (Stacey) Born of New Holstein, and Frank
(Becky) Born of Malone, WI; Four grandchildren: Nathan, Autumn, Kensley, and Kanen; Two sisters: Vicki
Weigel of Plymouth, and Sandy (Jose) Castillo of Sheboygan Falls; Sister-in-law: Cheryl Flotten of
Wentzville, MO; Three brothers-in-law: Darryl (Wanda) Johnson of Roseville, CA, Bryan Johnson of
O’Fallon, MO, and Gary (Josie) Johnson of Spring Lake, NC; as well as many nieces, nephews, other
relatives, and friends.
Fritz was preceded in death by: His parents; In-laws: Cliff and Arlene Johnson; Brother: Michael Born;
and Brothers-in-law: Bert Flotten and Norman Weigel.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday (April 13, 2022) at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.
Visitation will take place from 3:00-6:00PM, with a service to follow at 6:00PM. Rev. Don Johnson,
Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church – Glenbeulah, will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenbush Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Fritz’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Donations can

The family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses for the wonderful care and compassion
given to Fritz over the past 7 months.
