PLYMOUTH, Wis. (WHBL) – A Sheboygan man is behind bars on drunk driving charges after causing a crash and fleeing that scene.
It happened around 7:30 Monday night on Highway 23. A westbound SUV was hit by another vehicle, causing the SUV to lose control. The driver of the offending vehicle kept driving, while the SUV went off the road, into the median, rolled, landing on it’s roof.
Deputies were called and they located the drunk driver, who was arrested and charged with felony hit & run, OWI, and bail jumping.
The SUV driver wasn’t hurt.
