The windstorm that ravaged the state Wednesday night left tens of thousands without power for a time, and one lingering outage remains in Sheboygan County as of Friday morning.
The lone outage located on Highway 32 south of Sheboygan Falls affects fewer than 5 customers, and according to WeEnergies, might not be restored until Saturday night.
The National Weather Service reports that winds at the Sheboygan County Airport peaked at 66 miles per hour early Thursday morning, resulting in numerous power outages and damages. Similar winds were reported throughout Wisconsin as well as across several midwest states.
