MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Milwaukee is trying again to host a presidential convention. This time though, it’s the Republicans.
Visit Milwaukee, the folks who handle these things, sent-off their application to host the Republican National Convention last week. The application features many of the same selling points that Milwaukee offered to bring the Democratic National Convention to town last year. While Milwaukee technically hosted the DNC, last year’s convention was entirely virtual.
Republican leaders are expected to announce a list of possible hosts sometime next year.
