Robert E. Limberg, age 89, of the Town of Greenbush, WI, passed away unexpectedly early Monday
evening (October 4, 2021) at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
Robert was born on January 30, 1932 in Greenbush, WI, a son of the late Fred Limberg Sr. and
Emma (Feldt) Limberg. He attended Spring Valley Grade School.
On August 22, 1964 he married Sharon Cary at St. Fridolin’s Catholic Church in Glenbeulah. The couple
lived and farmed the family homestead since their marriage.
Robert was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah. He enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and
gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years; Sharon of the town of Greenbush, His children: Todd Limberg of
Greenbush, Ann Limberg of Sheboygan Falls, Amy (Mark) Levsen of the Town of Greenbush, Terry (Ema)
Limberg of Charlestown, IN, and Lisa Limberg of the Town of Greenbush. Seven grandchildren: Jessica
(Matthew) Ramel, Emily, Sarah, Jacob, Luke Elwyn and Teresa Levsen.
Two great granddaughters: Mary and Rebekah Ramel. Two sisters-in-law: Orlene (Walter) Phipps
of the Town of Greenbush and Ruth Cary of Glenbeulah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents; his mother and father-in-law: Mary and Elwyn Cary, Brothers:
Fred (Caroline) Limberg and Ray (Emily) Buhk and Sisters: Dorothy (Ray) Fink and Florence (Ed) Rooker.
One brother-in-law: Dale Cary and One nephew: Walter Phipps Jr.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday (October 9, 2021) at 12:00 Noon at Zion Lutheran
Church in Glenbeulah. Rev. Don Johnson, pastor of the church will officiate and burial will
be in the Greenbush Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the CHURCH on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Robert’s name.
