Elizabeth “Pinky” Borowicz, age 69, of the Town of Greenbush, WI, passed away peacefully on October
4, 2021 after a 30 year courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on February 16, 1952 in Hinsdale, IL, a daughter of the late Harald and Daisy (Dettmar)
Hendrichsen. Pinky grew up in Black River. She graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1970
and went on to attend LTC for accounting achieving an Associate’s Degree.
On August 21, 1944, she married Ronald Borowicz. Pinky worked at Strategic Data Systems and
VANDERVART Concrete Products in Sheboygan, where she retired as Vice President.
She loved accounting, enjoyed hunting, swimming, traveling, reading, watching the Green Bay Packers,
and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren on the farm. Pinky will be missed
dearly by many.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald; three sons, Brandon (Rosi) Jovanovich, Jamie Jovanovich, and
Brett (Nikki) Jovanovich; two step-children, Craig (Kumiko) Jovanovich of IL, Marne (Scott) Goldsmith of
FL; 11 grandchildren, Anthony, Isaac, Gabriel, Hudson, Calvin, Iris Elizabeth, Tyler, Luke, Ryan, Chase, and
Remy; four siblings, Nellie (Mark)Lippert, Paul (Susie) Hendrichsen of MO, Harald Hendrichsen of NC,
Agnes (Doug) Jackson; sister-in-law, Gloria (John) Yoke; and brother-in-law, Don Borowicz.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Saturday (October 9, 2021) at St. John’s UCC, 1248 Lincoln Ave, Sheboygan,
from 11:00 AM -12:00 Noon, with a memorial service at 12:00 Noon. Rev. Greg Whelton will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Pinky’s name for the American Cancer Society.
