Marion E. Hartwig, age 90, of Plymouth, passed away on September 25, 2021 at the Sharon S.
Richardson Community Hospice facility in Sheboygan Falls.
She was born on April 10, 1931 in Kiel, WI, a daughter of the late Helmuth and Edna (Braatz) Boeldt.
In 1960, she married Otto W. Hartwig at Bethlehem U.C.C. in Kiel.
Marion worked as a nanny for the Sartori family and also worked as a nurses’ aide at Rocky Knoll. Most
of her life was dedicated to being a homemaker and raising her family. She also babysat many children
in her neighborhood over the years, and cherished the time she had babysitting her own grandchildren.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth and served as a Room Mother at St. John
Lutheran School while some of her children were attending school there.
Marion enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking, canning, word search puzzles, drawing, and doing various
arts and crafts projects. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include: Four Daughters: Bonnie (Dan) Agacki of Plymouth, Nancy Limberg of Sheboygan,
Susan (Gary) Littlefield of Plymouth, and Kelly (Bill) Anton of Richfield; 11 Grandchildren: Jennifer
(Jarred) Velier, Daniel (Amber) Agacki, Joseph (Cindy) and Bradley Limberg, Angela (Drake) Davis, Sean
and Cassandra Littlefield, and Nicholas, Ruben, Noah, and Robert Anton; 8 Great-grandchildren: Logan,
Hannah, Corey, Jacob, Serenity, Olivia, Sawyer, and Hazel; Two Sisters: Jane (Gary) Hanke of Plymouth
and Betty Groth of Oshkosh; and Two Sisters-in-law: Jane Boeldt of New Holstein and Judy Boeldt of
Howards Grove.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Marion was preceded in death by: Her Husband: Otto; Son: Kevin; Brothers: Vernon and Norman;
Sisters: Fern (Willard), Bernice (Dennis), Lorraine (Mark), and Mabel (Kermit); Brothers-in-law: Reinhold
and Louis (Bernette); and Sisters-in-law: Della and Alma (Lester).
Funeral Services will be held on Monday (October 4, 2021) at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.
Visitation will take place from 9:30-11:30AM with a prayer service to follow at 11:30AM. Rev. John
Schultz, Pastor of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth, will officiate. Entombment will take place at
Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Town of Sheboygan.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Marion’s name.
