The number of patients hospitalized for treatment of COVID-19 in Sheboygan County has reached 15, increasing by over 1/3 in a day. This pace of hospitalizations was more typical of the beginning of this year, with the 21 cases recorded on January 4th the last time with comparably high numbers.
419 cases are now active, three less than on Tuesday, but the product of 28 new positives balanced by 31 recoveries in the last 24-hours. 14,787 cases in all have been recorded by the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health.
58,164 Sheboygan County residents are now fully vaccinated, 139 ore than on Tuesday and accounting for 50.4% of the population. 53.3%, or 61,485, have received at least one dose, an increase of 130 over Tuesday’s total.
