29 more positive tests for COVID-19 were received since Thursday by the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health, raising the total number of cases so far in the county to 14,678. Statistics from Thursday’s semi-weekly update showed that 201 new cases had been added in the previous week, and Sheboygan County’s 7-day average of new confirmed cases is now 29 per day.
As of Friday, 415 active cases were being monitored, a gain of 10 in the last day, while hospitalizations rose by 2, to 10 current patients.
50% of Sheboygan County has now been fully vaccinated against the SARS-CoV-2 virus according to Friday statistics from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. That amounts to 57,691 persons. 52.9%, or 60,988, have received at least one dose of vaccine, 128 more than on Thursday.
