HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital
Fewer visitors will now be allowed at Sheboygan’s St. Nicholas, as well as other hospitals operated by the Hospital Sisters Health System, as concerns heighten over the fast-spreading COVID-19 Delta variant.
The restrictions are similar to those put in place last year as the pandemic was ramping up. Effective immediately, no visitors under the age of 12 will be permitted. Patients may have up to two visitors per day and must be the same two people and may not rotate in and out with others. All patients nearing end-of-life will have special arrangements made on a case-by-case basis, and patients with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 will be unable to have any visitors unless that patient is a pediatric patient or has other special circumstances.
HSHS says that all visitors will have to pass screening for COVID-19 symptoms and exposure before being allowed in, and will have to wear a mask at all times.
Those with questions are advised to call St. Nicholas at (920) 459-8300.
