
Gerald E. “Jerry” Sippel, age 93, of Sheboygan, passed away Tuesday Evening, July 6, 2021
surrounded by his loving family at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center.
Gerald was born on January 11, 1928 in Sheboygan Falls, the son of the late Nicholas and Margaret
(Goeser) Sippel. He attended Dotyville Parochial School.
On June 2, 1951 he married Deloris A. Klemme in the Town of Mitchell. She preceded him
in death on March 25, 2001.
Jerry worked for the Kohler Company in Kohler for many years and retired from the Quasius Brothers
in Sheboygan. His fine mason skills can be seen throughout the American Club of Kohler and on the
exterior and interior of many homes in Sheboygan and Sheboygan Falls.
Jerry was a member of Blessed Trinity Church in Sheboygan Falls, Elks Lodge #299 of Sheboygan and in
his younger years, Jerry served on the Town of Sheboygan Falls Fire Department. He was a charter
member of Plymouth Ducks Unlimited and was a co-founder of the Greenwing Program, which was an
organization that helped educate children about the outdoors. He also belonged to many wildlife
organizations and enjoyed countless banquets with his friends.
Over the years, he enjoyed traveling and cherished spending time fishing and hunting with his sons. He
was an avid Reader of history and wildlife books taking great joy in sharing a conversation with his
children or grandchildren of past world history topics and events.
Gerald is survived by his sons: Gerald Sippel Jr. (Special friend: Kathie Hoffmann) of Cascade,
Allan (Faye) Sippel of Sheboygan, Keith (Luann) Sippel of the Town of Winchester, Keith (Sherry)
Binversie of Mishicot, Daughters: Janet Hueppchen (special friend: Don Binversie) of Sheboygan
Karen (James) Rooker of Sheboygan Falls, Joan (Scott) Kuehn of Sheboygan Falls, Ten grandchildren:
Tammy (Kevin) Fischer, Gary Hueppchen (special friend: Tracy), Ryan (Angie) Gordon, Petra Gordon,
Kirk (Emily) Sippel, Kelly (Thomas) Hawe, Becca Kohlmann (Special friend: Gage), Eric (Katie) Rooker,
Jacob (Chrissy) Schmid, Luke Schmid (his fiancé: Maria) and fifteen Great Grandchildren. Also survived
by his sisters: Rosemary Yekenewicz of Cascade, Judy Schmitz of Elkhart Lake, Brothers: Ronald (Jane)
Sippel of Parnell, John (Eva) Sippel of Crandon, sister-in-law: Frieda Wals of Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Nicholas and Margaret Sippel, wife: Deloris, daughter:
Barbara Buehler Binversie, son-in-law: Gary Buehler, sister: Alice Mae Blonigen, brother: Gordon, Ralph
and David Sippel and sister-in-law and special friend: Judith Huebner and many other brother and sister-
in-laws.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday (July 12, 2021) at 5:00 P.M. at St. John the
Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Philip Reifenberg, pastor of the church will officiate
and Entombment will be in the Chapel of Eternal Life at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the CHURCH from 2:00 P.M. on Monday until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jerry’s name.
