Jon Roland “Stork” Stuckmann, 59, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2021, in Limon,
Colorado, doing what he loved: making his way across the country in his semitruck with freight on the
trailer.
He was born on May 20, 1962, in Sheboygan, WI, a son of the late Karl and Allene (Kaemmer)
Stuckmann.
Jon attended school in Howards Grove, graduating high school in 1981.
Before starting his career in over-the-road trucking, Jon worked at Stokely-Van Camp and Johnsonville
Sausage. For over 30 years, he has been moving freight for Hot Shot Express, Jones Motor, and, most
recently, Landstar.
When Jon was home, he helped his brothers Glenn and Mark on the family farm. He also pursued his
many interests, which included snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle, driving his fast cars, and attending
Green Bay Packers games. Jon was an integral part of the In Dew Tyme tractor pulling team, driving the
crew to pulls and doing what was needed to get the tractor down the track.
Jon was a loyal brother and friend to many. Even on the road, he was in constant contact with them all.
His nephew Lucas Stuckmann benefited from having a devoted and involved uncle. The two shared
many, many outings, all of which included laughter.
While Jon loved politics, talk radio, and talking with anyone about pretty much anything, he hated
farming and country music.
He was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his brothers, Alan (Stefanie), Mark, and Glenn (Christine Nett), as well as his nephews
and nieces, Duane Jordan (DJ), Tyler, Allyson, Kayla, Karlie, and Lucas.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Immanuel UCC in the Town of Herman 4:00
p.m. – 6:00 p.m.. A service will follow at 6:00 p.m.. Rev. Laura Yurs, Pastor of Immanuel UCC, will
officiate.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jon’s name for Immanuel UCC.
