MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers got five shutout innings from Eric Lauer as they topped Cy Young winner Trevor Bauer and the LA Dodgers 2-1 on Thursday night at American Family Field.
Lauer only allowed four hits with 3 strikeouts and 2 walks. JP Feyereisen and Devin Williams threw scoreless innings before Josh Hader allowed a run in the 9th before closing it out for his 6th save.
Travis Shaw hit a two run homer off Bauer in the 4th for the Brewers only offense. Milwaukee only had four hits in the game.
The Brewers also place pitcher Corbin Burnes on the 10 day IL without saying why.
