
Peggy A. Kress, 67, of Sheboygan, left this dimension on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at
Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, after leading a very rich, rewarding and
spiritual life.
She was born June 7, 1953 in Sheboygan to Ralph and Evelyn (Wolters) Kress. Peggy attended
Maple Dale Elementary School, Urban Junior High School and graduated from North High
School with the Class of 1971. She went on to graduate from Lakeshore Technical Institution in
1971 with her Associates Degree in Marketing and Lakeland College in 1978 with her Bachelor
of Arts Degree in Business Administration.
Peggy’s Motto in life was to Live Life Simple. Her cause was animals, her hobby was
photography and traveling, her interests were decorating and landscaping, and her passion was
dancing.
Peggy was employed with Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center, Shopko Department
Stores, JCPenney Company, Ramada Inn, Sheboygan County as a Deputy Register in Probate
Clerk and various other positions, H.C.Prange Company and the Olson, Kloet, Gunderson &
Conway Law Firm.
She was very active in the community, volunteering with the Sheboygan County Humane
Society, Birthright of Sheboygan, Big Sisters/Big Brothers, Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and
the Red Cross.
Peggy is survived by her mother Evelyn Kress of Sheboygan, brother Dale Kress of Sheboygan,
and many other relatives and many great friends. She was preceded in death by her father
Ralph W. Kress on September 23, 1977, her grandmothers Leola Truttschel Wolters and Roma
Hartfiel Kress, her grandfathers Max Wolters Jr. and Norbert J. Kress as well as various aunts,
uncles, and cousins.
Peggy will be cremated and buried at Calvary Cemetery in Sheboygan with no funeral visitation.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sheboygan County Humane Society in Peggy’s
name.
The family would like to thank all the Dr.’s and RN’s that took care of Peggy and provided her
with comfort, support and compassion.
She wishes to give her love to all her relatives, special friends and acquaintances.
