Patrick Henry Harris
December 20th, 1975 – June 7th, 2026
Born to Patricia Y. Harris and raised by her and partner in life, Thomas Gessler.
From a young age, Patrick was eager to understand how things worked. Whether he was building model cars or tinkering with CB radios, he had a natural drive to learn, explore, and fix. He attended Sheboygan South High School and with the help of shop class and his friends, he found his passion as a mechanic which he thrived and loved. His nickname was “Grease Monkey” for the longest time.
Patrick had a big, kind heart and was always quite the protector of his family, which also included a wide network of friends. His unique “big-kid” outlook on life made him even more easy to love. Always the prankster, no closet was safe and no campfire was complete without a ghost story, guaranteeing a sleepless night. Always smiling, laughing and full of love—he was certainly the life of the party no matter where he was.
He had a great love for music, especially metal and rap. He could wire any speaker system with ease, but none of them were loud enough to compete with his personality.
Of all his accomplishments, Patrick was most proud of becoming a father to his daughter, Lydia, whom he adored deeply.
He is survived by his daughter, Lydia Harris, brother, Daniel (Chris) Carr, sister, Rebecca Gessler, and chosen father, Thomas Gessler. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Patricia Y. Harris.
A celebration of life is currently being planned by his family for fall and will be announced later. Memorial donations can be made to Mountainside.com – Addiction Recovery Support.
He will be greatly missed.
