MADISON, Wi (WSAU) The Wisconsin Badgers used a big second half to beat Nebraska 82-68 on Tuesday night at the Kohl Center.
After a back and forth first half that had Wisconsin leading by one at the break, the Badgers opened the second half on a 20-4 run. Nebraska got back in it with a 19-7 run and cut the deficit to five with less than 8 minutes to go but that was as close as they would get.
The balanced Badger attack had eight players hit three pointers in the games. Brad Davison had 14 points while D’Mitrick Trice finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. Nate Reuvers had 11 points and four blocks
Wisconsin, now 12-7, 5-3 in Big Ten, will travel to Purdue on Friday night.
